Invite and manage your company's contacts

Updated on 14 October 2026

The Team page (under My profile) lists the people in your company who use the client area, with their access level and status. It's where you invite a colleague, adjust their rights, or cut off their access when they leave.

The page opens on its Overview: how many contacts and places are used, the Invitations waiting, the contacts Without two-factor authentication and, for a contact with full access, whether two-factor authentication is required. Each counter opens the matching tab. The Contacts, Roles, Emergency contacts and Access rules tabs only show when your account has them.

Who can do what

  • The page is visible to contacts with full access and to those our team has allowed to invite.
  • Only the latter can add, change or remove contacts. If that's you, you'll see the Invite a contact button.
  • You can never give more rights than your own, or act on your own access.
  • A contact you invite can't invite others in turn; ask us if they should.

Invite a colleague

  1. Open My profile › Team, tab Contacts, and click Invite a contact.
  2. Enter their Name and E-mail.
  3. Choose their Access: technical, administrative or full (see "Access levels and extra rights").
  4. For technical or full access, tick any extra rights: Monit actions, VM power actions, VM firewall. Only the ones you hold yourself are offered.
  5. Click Invite.

Your colleague gets an email with a link to choose their password. The link is valid for 7 days and works once. If the email couldn't be sent, the page shows the link so you can pass it on yourself. Someone who already has access for another company is added straight away and finds your company in their company switcher.

Manage an existing contact

On the contact's line:

  • change their level in the Access list, or tick and untick their rights; the change applies on their next page;
  • Send the invitation again (invitation not yet accepted) or Send a password reset link;
  • Sign out everywhere ends all their sessions for your company;
  • Reset two-factor authentication if they've lost their phone;
  • Disable cuts their access at once without deleting it; Enable brings it back;
  • Remove deletes their access, and they'll need a new invitation to come back. For an invitation not yet accepted, the button reads Cancel the invitation.

Good to know

  • A company can have up to 25 contacts: the count is shown next to the Contacts heading.
  • For a contact who also works for another company, their password and two-factor authentication are their own business: you can't reset them.
  • Every action is recorded in your company's activity log.
