Data policy

1. Purpose
This document explains what becomes of the data you host with us: where it is, who reaches it, how it is backed up, how you get it back and what happens to it when a service ends. It completes the general terms of sale, the service commitments and the privacy policy, which prevail in case of contradiction.
2. Where your data is
Your services are hosted in partner datacenters in Europe and Morocco. An offer's location is on its technical sheet when it is fixed; for a precise location need (a country, a datacenter), ask before you order: we confirm in writing what is possible.
We do not move your data to another country without telling you beforehand.
3. Who reaches your data
Your data is yours. We act as a processor: we do not look at it and only process it on your instruction, or when needed to restore a service, answer a support request you opened or meet a legal obligation.
Our team's accesses are personal and logged. In your client area, the activity log shows the actions made on your services, by your contacts as well as by our team when it acts on your behalf.
4. Backups
The backups an offer includes, their frequency and how long they are kept are those stated on its sheet and in your contract. An offer without included backups is not backed up by us: organising yours is then up to you.
When your offer allows it, you start a backup on demand and ask for a restore from your client area. A backup is a copy at a given date: it replaces neither replication nor a legal archive.
5. Getting your data back
You can copy your data out of our services at any time by your own means (server access, database exports, file transfer). Your client area also gives access to your invoices and documents and, when the feature is open for your account, to an export of your company's information.
If you need help with an outgoing migration, open a support request: we tell you what can be provided and on which terms.
6. Suspension of a service
A suspended service (unpaid invoice, use against the terms) is no longer reachable, but its data is kept during the suspension period set by the general terms of sale. Paying the invoice or lifting the cause restores the service with its data.
7. End of a service
When a service is terminated, at your request or at the end of a suspension, its data is deleted from our production systems. Its backups then expire at the end of their retention. Once deleted, data can no longer be restored: retrieve what you need before the end date.
The records the law requires us to keep (invoices, accounting entries, contractual exchanges) are kept for the legal periods, as the privacy policy states.
8. Incident affecting your data
If an incident affects the confidentiality, integrity or availability of data you host with us, we inform you as soon as possible, with what we know and what we are doing, then with a written report.
9. Write to us
For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, write to us from the Contact page or open a request from your client area.
