Reload the client area when a new version is available
Updated on 3 November 2026
We improve the client area regularly. A page left open during an update keeps running the version it loaded: it doesn't change by itself while you're using it.
The banner
Every 5 minutes, and each time you come back to the tab, the client area checks whether a new version has been installed. If so, a blue banner shows at the top of the page:
A new version is available. Reload to use it; anything typed on this page and not saved will be lost.
- Finish and save what you're typing (a message to support, a form).
- Click Reload in the banner: the page opens again with the new version, at the same place.
Good to know
- Nothing reloads without you: you choose when. Close the banner with the cross if you'd rather finish later; it only comes back for the next version.
- Reloading the page in your browser (F5, or Cmd + R on a Mac) does the same.
- A network outage never shows this banner. You don't need to sign in again: your session stays open.
- If a page won't open just after an update, it reloads by itself once. If the problem stays, write to us and tell us what you were doing.
