Redirecting your home page

When you enter a domain name (http://your\_domain.tld) in your browser's address bar, you usually reach the index page of the site in question - index.html. But if you want to reach a page other than index.html, you must apply a redirection (called a URL redirect) to your site. You can do this through cPanel.

1. In cPanel, click the 'Redirects' icon under the 'Domains' heading.
2. Choose whether you want to make this change temporarily or not.
3. Choose the domain or subdomain if you have more than one.
4. Enter the link of the main page you now want to display.
5. Leave the default selection for 'Redirect with or without www'.
6. Tick the 'Wild Card Redirect' box if you want to redirect several pages.
7. Click the Add button to add the redirect.
