How do I change the DNS of my domain?

Please note that by changing the NS servers of your domain, you are changing an important setting that may take your site offline.

A DNS change can take up to 48 hours to take effect (normal propagation time).

To change the NS (name servers) of an active domain:

1. Sign in to the Client Area (https://www.atlashoster.com/)
2. In the top menu, click My Domains
3. If several domains exist in this account, choose the domain concerned and click View details. Otherwise the domain's management page is displayed automatically
4. Under DNS Servers (Nameservers), change the fields DNS 1, DNS 2, DNS 3 and DNS 4 (as needed), then click Save changes. Note that any DNS change can take up to 48 hours to become effective.

The DNS of an expired domain name cannot be changed; it must be renewed first.
