See and close your signed-in sessions
Updated on 14 October 2026
Signed in on a shared computer and forgot to sign out? The Signed-in sessions card, at the bottom of the Sign-in and security tab of My profile › Account, lists every browser or device signed in to your account and lets you close them remotely.
Reading the list
Each session shows:
- the browser and system (for example "Chrome · Windows"), with this browser next to the one you're using;
- the IP address it signed in from;
- when it started ("since…") and when it was last active ("active … ago").
An unfamiliar session, or an IP address you don't recognise, deserves a closer look.
Close sessions
- For a single session, click the Sign out icon at the end of its line. The current session can't be closed this way: use Log out in the menu under your name.
- For all the others at once, click Sign out the others at the top of the card and confirm. Only your current session stays open.
The device in question goes back to the sign-in page on its next page.
If you suspect unwanted access
- Click Sign out the others.
- Change your password on the same page.
- Turn on two-factor authentication if you haven't already.
- Let a colleague with full access know: your company's activity log shows sign-ins and failed sign-ins.
Security e-mails
If our team turned the feature on, you get an e-mail at your address when something sensitive touches your account:
- a sign-in from a browser you had never used;
- your password changed or reset;
- two-factor authentication turned on or off;
- an API token made in your name.
The e-mail gives the time, the IP address and the browser. If it was you, there's nothing to do. Otherwise change your password right away from Account, close the other sessions, and tell us.
Example: you sign in from your phone for the first time; you get « Sign-in from a browser we had not seen before », with « Safari / iOS ».
Good to know
- Changing your password or turning on two-factor authentication also closes your other sessions.
- A colleague who manages the team can close all your sessions for your company with Sign out everywhere, for example if a laptop is stolen.
