Label your services and see their costs by label
Updated on 3 November 2026
When you have many services, labels help you find them and know what each project costs. A label is a free word you put on a service: prod, staging, shop, the name of a customer or a team.
The feature shows if our team opened it for your account.
Label a service
- Open the service in Services.
- In the Labels strip, type a word in Add a label, then click Add. The labels you already use are suggested as you type.
- To remove one, click the cross next to its name.
Labels are added and removed with technical or full access; every contact of your company sees them.
Filter your services
On the Services page, each service shows its labels under its name. The All labels menu keeps those carrying the label you choose, with the number of services in brackets. The filter stays in the page's address: you can bookmark it.
See the costs by label
On the Invoices page, the Costs by label table (contacts with administrative or full access) gives, for each label, the number of services and what they cost a month, excluding tax. It shows as soon as one service carries a label.
Example: two VPS labelled prod, one at 300.00 MAD a month, the other at 1,200.00 MAD a year. The prod line shows 2 services and 400.00 MAD a month.
Good to know
- A label: letters, digits, dashes, dots and underscores, 30 characters at most, no space. It's saved in lower case.
- 8 labels at most per service.
- A service carrying several labels counts under each of them: the lines may therefore add up to more than your total.
- Costs come from the price of your subscriptions, brought to a month. A Cloud billed by use and services outside a subscription aren't in it.
- The Without a label line groups the rest.
