cPanel: introduction and access details
Updated on 3 November 2026
Introduction to cPanel: the cPanel control panel lets you carry out many complex tasks in a few seconds through a web interface.
Every hosting account gets its own secure access to cPanel, with a unique username and password.
To give you an idea, here is a short list of what is available in cPanel:
Manage your files with the File Manager
See your site's traffic statistics (who visits my site, where do they come from, and which pages do they visit?)
Create a new e-mail address, or read your e-mails online (with Webmail access)
Create and manage your databases
Install software such as a blog, a forum or a shopping cart
and much more!
However, you should also understand what cPanel cannot do. The following are handled through the Client Area (available on our website), a different system you also have access to as a client:
Sending a support ticket to our team
Paying your invoices
Ordering a new service or a plan upgrade
Signing in to cPanel
To sign in to your cPanel:
- Enter the following address in your browser: http://www.\[yourdomain.com\]/cpanel (replace [yourdomain.com] with your domain name).
- When asked, enter your cPanel username and your password, as given in your welcome e-mail.
